National Fire Codes

  • The National Fire Codes (NFC), which is published by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), consists of more than 280 codes in 15 volumes .
  • The codes cover several safety areas, including fires/explosions, fire protection systems, life safety, gas and electrical hazards. According to the License and Distribution Agreement made between the KFPA and the NFPA in 1995, a Korean version of the codes were published. The Korean version has a total of more than 280 codes in 20 booklets.
